Editing & Consulting Services
I’m an editor with the Editorial Freelancers Association, and my skillset spans all facets of the editorial process, including developmental editing, line editing, copy editing, proofreading, and manuscript consultation. While trained in the Chicago Manual of Style and the Associated Press Stylebook, I center my editing practice in a translingual approach, which deprioritizes the standardization of language and instead asks what language and form can do for the writer to best communicate their intentions.
I'm particularly interested in working with hybrid manuscripts, academic and creative non-fiction essays, poetry, and memoir. My editing and consulting services are offered at sliding scale and are consistent with the Editorial Freelancers Association's market rate. Out of respect for my clients' intellectual property (and my own intellectual prowess), I do not use AI in any aspect of my services. If you're interested in learning more, feel free to reach out for a sample edit or to talk through your current project!
